EP 71 Nursing Burnout with Cara Lunsford

Nursing Burnout with Cara Lunsford

Nursing burnout with many nurses is a growing concern in the nursing community. It can lead to severe problems if not resolved and may cause a nursing shortage in the future.

In this episode, we’d like to welcome Cara Lunsford, a registered nurse for 14 years. She saw that nurse burnout was at an all-time high and turned her focus to creating a community of support for nurses with her platform HOLLIBLU. Her recent nationally recognized nurse survey showed that 75% of nurses said that “peer support” was the number one thing needed to help provide sustainability for the profession and help reduce burnout.

Questions below are some we’d like to tackle. We always go off-topic, so we don’t expect to hit them all. If you have any ideas, please let us know. Looking forward to our conversation!
